Prices vary by date of visit. Begin your tour with an interactive pre-boarding experience featuring 60s-inspired animation and Gateway Arch trivia. Then, be transported 630 feet to the top of Arch for exhilarating views. Please allow 45 - 60 minutes for your Tram Ride to the Top experience. Entrance Passes

The Gateway Arch reflects St. Louis' role in the Westward Expansion of the United States during the nineteenth century. The park is a memorial to Thomas Jefferson's role in opening the West, to the pioneers who helped shape its history, and to Dred Scott who sued for his freedom in the Old Courthouse.

Operating Hours:

Visitor Center, Museum, and Ride to the Top

The Gateway Arch is open year-round, closed only on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day. Summer Hours (9am-8pm) run the Saturday before Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend and are the primary visitor season. During Regular Hours (the day after Labor Day through Friday before Memorial Day) we are open from 9am to 6pm.

Closed Dec. 25, Christmas Day (December 25, 2024 - December 25, 2024)

Gateway Arch Grounds

The park grounds are open daily, year round.

Old Courthouse

The Old Courthouse is closed for renovations. The National Park Service (NPS) has announced the Old Courthouse at Gateway Arch National Park will undergo renovations beginning in late 2021. The renovations are part of the final component of the $380-million CityArchRiver project, which has resulted in the revitalization of the Gateway Arch park grounds, Arch Visitor Center and Museum at the Gateway Arch and is the largest public-private partnership in the history of the National Park Service.
