Entrance Fees
  • Timed Entry Reservation - Location: $1.00
  • The park offers tours of the historic homes. A reservation is required to attend a guided tour. It is strongly recommended to make reservations in advance on Adams National Historical Park's Recreation.gov page. A limited number of reservations will be available day-of for free on a first-come, first-served basis at the Visitor Center.

  • Entrance - Per Person: $15.00
  • Entrance into the historic homes at Adams National Historical Park requires an entrance pass. Entrance passes cost $15 per person. Children under the age of 16 are free. If you have an America the Beautiful Interagency Pass, you do not need to pay the entrance fee. Tours can be reserved online in advance at recreation.gov or in-person on the day of your visit at the park’s visitor center. Tour reservations are required in addition to entrance passes.

  • Annual Entrance - Park: $45.00
  • Adams National Historical Park has a digital annual pass available for purchase on Recreation.gov. This pass is good for 12 months following the purchase of the pass. Tickets are still required to enter the park, but the digital annual pass will ensure the passholder free entry into the park. The pass costs $45.


From the sweet little farm at the foot of Penn’s Hill to the gentleman’s country estate at Peace field, Adams National Historical Park is the story of “heroes, statesmen, philosophers…and learned women” whose ideas and actions helped to transform thirteen disparate colonies into one united nation.

Directions:

Traveling on U.S. Interstate 93, take exit 7 - Route 3 South to Braintree and Cape Cod. Take the first exit off Route 3 south - exit 42 - and follow signs toward Quincy Center. Continue straight on Burgin Parkway through six traffic lights. At the seventh traffic light, turn right onto Dimmock Street. Follow Dimmock Street one block and turn right onto Hancock Street. The National Park Service Visitor Center, located at 1250 Hancock Street on your left. Validated parking is in the garage to the rear.

Operating Hours:

All Park

The park, including the Visitor Center and the historic homes, is open Wednesday through Sunday 9am to 5pm now through October 31. The park grounds remain open dawn until dusk.

Weather Information:

Be prepared for hot, humid weather. The historic homes are not air conditioned. While the visitor center remains open all year, the historic homes are generally closed from approximately November 1 through April 30th.
