Deep Sea Animals
Deep sea animals stay in the aquatic flora and fauna. When we study about the deep sea biology we come to know about the millions of species staying under the sea. They contribute in maintaining the ecological balance. The marine habitats are also a source for tourism, where people know about various species and their habits. They help us to maintain the climate of our earth so there is urgency to protect in order to protect ourselves. There are different seas animals live under the salt water.
Creatures
First comes are the various creatures such as whales, sharks, fishes, octopus, jelly fishes, seals. They live in various deep sea waters. Their food habits mostly consist of small sea creatures, etc.
Monkeys
It is a centimeter or more in length; it is very famous because of the food source for fishes at aquariums, aquaculture and laboratories doing research activities. As they are small and require only less food they were used by scientist for sending in space.
Birds
A sea bird is one which stays for majority of its time in the sea. It also includes all the birds that stay in the sea. A collective term of sea bird is used to define them. The sea birds are albatrosses, petrels, shearwaters, gulls, boobies etc.
Sea Snakes
Snakes also stay in seas. They are prominently found in the tropical regions. A sea snake is also poisonous and bites like a land snake. They have developed paddles and keels so to stay in water but it made difficulty in moving on the land.
Turtles
They are big and they also adapted to live in marine waters. They swim with their hided front limbs and expel out the salt through their eyes. Their food habits differ and the biggest threat to them is that rise in accidental deaths.
Lions
These creatures are named as sea lions because of similar look. There are three types of sea lion Australian, California and Steller sea lion found in different places. They are friendly, you can see them playing on shores but can get angry if irritated.
Sea Otter
They are different from other sea mammals as they can also stay on land and requires heavy food for living. They actually take up to 30% food in compared to their body's weight per day and they cannot adjust with lesser food also.
Seals
Seals are also habitant living in waters. Their are many various seals Australian fur, Caribbean monk, Elephant, Leopard, Harbor, Northern fur, Hawaiian monk seals etc.
